Charter of Software Engineering Certification

Issued under the authority of the Karvaan Labs Engineering Directorate · Effective Cohort Year 2026

RECORD DECLARATION: Every credential issued by Karvaan Labs constitutes a cryptographically signed, tamper-resistant record of software engineering competency, guaranteed by SHA-256 hash digests and verifiable in real-time at https://karvaanlabs.in/verify.html.

1. Rubric Qualification Thresholds

Certification by Karvaan Labs is strictly merit-based and cannot be purchased without meeting rigorous deliverable standards:

  • Deliverable Requirement: Completion and verified submission of at least three (3) out of five (5) assigned production sprint projects within the chosen engineering discipline.
  • Codebase Integrity: Each submission must be a public GitHub repository exhibiting clean, atomic commit histories authored by the candidate, accompanied by an architectural write-up and test suites.
  • Honors Benchmark: Candidates achieving an aggregate score of 90 or above receive the Honors Credential and an automatic invitation to the live senior technical interview panel.

2. Cryptographic Architecture & Tamper Resistance

Each certificate is uniquely sealed with a persistent Certificate Identification string (e.g. KL-8F3K9P2M) registered across our authenticated verification index. Modification or tampering with the certificate content, recipient name, or grade invalidates the digital signature.

SHA-256 Authenticity Digest Each credential embeds a computed hash digest over candidate ID, grade, and timestamp.
Instant QR Verification Scan redirects immediately to the secure SSL-encrypted official verification record.

3. Employer & Institutional Verification Rights

Employers, hiring managers, academic institutions, and third-party background checkers retain perpetual, unhindered rights to independently query and validate any certificate ID at https://karvaanlabs.in/verify.html free of charge.

4. Revocation & Plagiarism Policy

Karvaan Labs reserves the explicit right to revoke any certificate and its associated verification entry if retrospective evidence establishes code plagiarism, unauthorized third-party proxy submissions, or deliberate security violations.
